What do you mean by Order Types ?
Once you place an order on an exchange, it goes through various stages - right from Order Confirmation to Trade Confirmation. These distinct stages can be called upon as Order Types.
How one can view Orders bearing the particular Order Type ?
PIB provides you with an option on Order Search interface ('Status') using which you can view orders bearing the particular status. The options given are:
- All - This is the default status and displays you all the orders placed by you.
- Rejected - Rejected Status displays you those orders that are rejected by the exchange. The criteria for Order Rejection vary for each exchange.
- Cancelled - Cancelled Status displays you those orders that are cancelled by you (using Modify/Delete Order option).
- Executed - Executed Status displays you those orders that are now converted into trade.
- Outstanding - Outstanding Status displays you those orders that are confirmed by the exchange but are yet to be traded. These orders are placed in exchange's Order Book.
- Expired - Expired Status implies to those orders that do not convert into trade and get expired at the end of the day by the exchange. Indiabulls releases margins for these orders that it blocked in the beginning.
- Request Sent - Request Sent Status implies to those orders that are sent to exchange for processing but no confirmation is received from the exchange as yet. Note! This status is not given in F&O Order Search.
