About Order Search Feature
Order Search Feature lets you search your orders in the Currency market. PIB displays you the following window when you click on this option:

How to search an Order?
You can use the following options to search particular currency orders:

  1. Exchange- You can search orders on the basis of exchange. Select the exchange under which you wish to view your Currency orders.

  2. Instrument Type - You can search orders on the basis of instrument type. Here, you are provided with two instrument types – FUTCUR (contract in futures) and OPTCUR (contract in options).

  3. Symbol- You can search orders on the basis of symbol of currency pair. Select the symbol for which you wish to your Currency orders.

  4. Option Type- You can search orders on the basis of options type (Call/Put). In case, you are not sure about the options type, choose 'Both' type.

  5. Buy/Sell- You can specify whether you wish to view Buy order or Sell order. To search for both buy and sell orders, choose 'Both' option.

  6. Status - You can search orders bearing the particular order status. You can search in Rejected, Cancelled, Executed, Expired Orders, Outstanding Order, Frozen and Request Sent . To know more about Order types, click here...

  7. Product Type- You can specify whether you wish to view orders in Intraday product or Carry Forward product. To search for both, choose 'ALL' option.

  8. Expiry Date Range From / To - You can search your orders on the criteria that the expiry dates of Currency orders lie between two selected dates.
    Specify the expiry date from which you wish to view orders(s) in 'From' field. Similarly, specify the expiry date till which you wish to view order(s) in 'To' field. These dates will be in format (MM-YYYY).

Once you set the search criteria, click on 'Search' button. On clicking, PIB works on your set criteria and displays you the related records. (You can learn more about Order Search Results in the section below)


Order Search Results
Basis on your search criteria, PIB displays you Order Search Results in the following format:

  1. Contract Description- This field displays the name of the contract.

  2. Exchange- This field displays exchange for the corresponding contract.

  3. Internal Reference Number - This field indicates the internal reference number generated by system. You can click on the reference number to view the particular order log details. To know more about Order Log details feature, click here...

  4. Exchange Order Number - This field indicates the order reference number given by the exchange with respect to corresponding order.

  5. Product Type- This field indicates the product type for the correspoding order. i.e. Intraday or Carry forward.

  6. Trigger Price- This field indicates the stop loss price entered for the corresponding order.

  7. Buy/Sell - This field indicates whether you had selected 'Buy' or 'Sell' while placing the order.

  8. Order Price - This field indicates the price at which the corresponding order was placed.

  9. Lot - This field indicates the number of lots entered for corresponding order.

  10. Disclosed Lot - This field indicates the disclosed lots entered for corresponding order.

  11. Remaining Lot- This field indiactes the number of lots that are not yet traded.

  12. Exchange Order Time - This field indicates exchange's date and time when the corresponding contract was placed on the exchange.

  13. Order Term-This field indicates whether the order is placed as good-till-day (DAY)order or Immediate-or-Cancel (IOC)order.

  14. Status - It displays the current status of the corresponding order.

  15. Request Placed by- This field indicates who has placed the corresponding order


Add-on Features

  1. Search- You can view orders detail by clicking on 'Search' button based on values selected in filters.

  2. Print - You can take a print out of the given Order Search table by clicking on ‘Print’ button.

  3. Export -  You can download the given order details in your PC by clicking on ‘Export’ button. These details will be downloaded in csv format.
