Margin Report feature displays information about your Margin Availability and Margin Utilization in Equity, F&O and Currency segment. On clicking, PIB displays you the following window:
What do you mean by Margin Available?
Margin Available reflects the total amount available to you for trading in
various segments of the market. These details include:
1) Stock Margin Available - It displays the amount that you can utilize against the stocks available in your
account.
2) Cash Margin Available - It displays the cash amount that you can utilize to trade in various segments
of the market. Cash Margin Available is the cumulative balance of following
parameters:

Projected Ledger Balance - It displays the projected ledger balance of your account.

Cash Blocked- Prev Pos (MTA-NSE) - It displays the cash blocked on account of Previous Positions taken by you in
Margin Trading segment in NSE.

Cash Blocked - Prev Pos (MTA-BSE) - It displays the cash blocked on account of Previous Positions taken by you in
Margin Trading segment in BSE.

Cash Released Today - It displays the cash released in your account during the current market day.

Cash Utilized Today - It displays the cash utilized by you for trades in various segments of the
market.
- MTM Top-up - this field displays the provisional margin blocked by the system on the notional losses incurred by you in leveraged open positions. This top-up is done by the system when extreme movements in a particular scrip or the entire market occurs.
What do you mean by Margin Utilized?
Margin Utilized reflects the total amount that you have utilized while trading
in various segments of the market. These include:
1) Cash - It displays the total amount that you have utilized from your available Cash
Margin + Stock Margin for Delivery Based Trading.
2) Margin Trading - It displays the total amount you have utilized from your available Cash Margin +
Stock Margin to trade in Margin Trading segment.
3) Intraday - It displays the amount that you have utilized from your available Cash Margin +
Stock Margin to trade in 'Intraday' segment.
4) F&O (Derivative) - It displays the amount that you have utilized from your available Cash Margin +
Stock Margin to trade in Futures and Options (F&O) segment. On clicking F&O (Derivative) link, you can view exchange and product wise margin which includes NSE F&O, BSE F&O Carry Forward and BSE F&O Intraday.
5) CDS Intraday- It displays the amount that you have utilized from your available Cash Margin +
Stock Margin to trade in 'Currency Intraday' segment.
6) CDS Carry Forward- It displays the amount that you have utilized from your available Cash Margin +
Stock Margin to trade in 'Currency Carry Forward' segment.
7) Total - It displays the net aggregate of Margin Utilized of the above mentioned Trading
Products.
Add-on Features
- Print - You can take a print out of the
Margin Report by clicking on ‘Print’ button.

Export - You can download the given
details in your PC by clicking on ‘Export’ button. These
details will be downloaded in csv format.

Synch - You can click on ‘Synch’ button to synchronize /update the Margin Report.
