How Trade differs from an Order ?
The basic difference between an order and a trade is that an order is the request that you have placed to transact in the particular contract, whereas, a trade is the confirmation that the order is successfully traded.
About Trade Search Feature
Trade Search Feature lets you search your trades in
the Currency market. PIB displays you the following window when you click on this option:
How to search a Trade ?
You can use the following options to search particular trades:

Exchange- You can search trades on the basis of exchange. Select the exchange under which you wish to view your Currency trades.
- Instrument Type - You can search trades on the basis of instrument type. Here, you are provided with two instrument types – FUTCUR (contract in futures) and OPTCUR (contract in options).

Symbol- You can search trades on the basis of symbol of currency pair. Select the symbol for which you wish to your Currency trades.
- Option Type- You can search trades on the basis of options type (Call/Put). In case, you are not sure about the options type, choose 'Both' type.

Buy/Sell- You can specify whether you wish to view trades in which you had placed Buy order or wish to view trades in which you had placed Sell order. To search for both, choose
'Buy/Sell' option.
- Expiry Date Range From / To - You can search your trades on the criteria that the expiry dates of Currency contracts lie between two selected dates. In other words, PIB searches for those contracts that were traded by you in the past and their expiry date lie between two mentioned dates.
Specify the expiry date from which you wish to view trades(s) in 'From' field. Similarly, specify the expiry date till which you wish to view order(s) in 'To' field. These dates will be in format (MM-YYYY).
- Period From / To – You can search your trades done between two selected dates. Specify the date from which you wish to view trades(s) in 'From' field. Similarly, specify the date till which you wish to view trade(s) in 'To' field. These dates will be in format (DD-MM-YYYY).
Once you set the search criteria, click on 'Search' button. On clicking, PIB works on your set criteria and displays you the related records. (You can learn more about Trade Search Results in the section below)
Trade Search Results
Basis on your search criteria, PIB displays you Trade Search Results in
the following format:

Contract Description- This field displays the name of the contract.
- Exchange- This field displays exchange for the corresponding contract.
- Exchange Trade Number - This field
indicates the trade reference number given by the exchange with respect to corresponding trade.

Exchange Order Number - This field
indicates the order reference number given by the exchange with respect to corresponding trade.
- Buy/Sell - This field indicates
whether you had selected 'Buy' or 'Sell' while placing the order for the corresponding trade.

Trade Price - This field indicates the price at which the corresponding trade was done.

Traded Lot (Carry Forward)- This field indicates the
lot that has been traded in Carry Forward product.
- Traded Lot (Intraday)- This field indicates the
lot that has been traded in Intraday Product.
- Exchange Trade Time - This field indicates
exchange's date and time when the corresponding contract was traded on the exchange.
Add-on Features
- Search- You can view trades detail by clicking on 'Search' button based on values selected in filters.

Print - You can take a print out of the
given Trade Search table by clicking on ‘Print’ button.

Export - You can download the given
trade details in your PC by clicking on ‘Export’ button. These
details will be downloaded in csv format.
