Trade Search Feature lets you search your trades in the commodity market. PIB displays you the following window when you click on this option:
How to search a Trade?
You can use the following options to search particular trades:
- Exchange – You can specify whether you want to search for MCX orders or NCDEX orders. To search orders for both,choose ‘Both’ option.
- Instrument Type- Next, choose the
Instrument type. Here, you are provided with two major instrument types – OPTFUT and FUTCOM. To search for both, choose ‘Both’ option.
- Symbol- You can view the orders on the basis of symbol. You can select the symbol for which you wish to view your commodity orders.
- Buy/Sell - You can specify whether you want to search for Buy Orders or Sell Orders. To search for both, choose ‘Both’ option.
- Product- You can specify whether you want to search for Intraday Orders or Carry Forward Orders. To search for both, choose ‘Both’ option.
- Duration –You can view the trades on the basis of duration. To view the trades for the current day, choose option ‘Current’ and to view the trades for previous 10 days, choose ‘Previous’ option.
Once you set the search criteria, click on 'Search' button. On clicking, PIB works on your set criteria and displays you the related records. (You can learn more about Trade Search Results in the section below)
Trade Search Results
Basis on your search criteria, PIB displays you Trade Search Results in the following format:
- Contract Description – It displays the full description of the contract including commodity symbol, contract type and Expiry date for future contracts and symbol, contract type,Expiry date,strike price and option type for option contract.
- Exchange – It displays the exchange for the corresponding order.
- Exchange Order No – It displays the order number given by exchange with respect to the corresponding order.
- Exchange Trade Number - This field indicates the trade reference number given by the exchange with respect to corresponding trade.
- Buy/Sell - This field indicates whether you had selected 'Buy' or 'Sell' while placing the order for the corresponding trade.
- Trade Price - This field indicates the price at which the corresponding trade was done.
- Traded Lot - This field indicates number of lots that has been traded.
- Product – It displays the product for the corresponding order. If the order is placed in intraday product, PIB displays ‘Intraday’ in this field. If the order is placed in Carry forward product, PIB displays ‘Carry Forward’ in this field.
- Exchange Trade Time - This field indicates exchange's date and time when the corresponding contract was traded on the exchange.
Add-on Features
- Print - You can take a print out of the Commodity Outstanding Order Table by clicking on ‘Print’ button.
- Export - You can download the given order details in your PC by clicking on ‘Export’ button. These details will be downloaded in csv format.
- Synch - You can click on ‘Synch’ button to synchronize /update the Commodity Outstanding Orders table.
