Insert Row Commodities


Insert Row Commodities option allows you to add commodity underlying and their derivative contracts in your Market Watch. PIB displays you the following window when you select this option:

PIB provides you two ways to add desired contracts in your Market Watch.

I Select & Add
One easy way is to select the contracts that you wish to add (Press Ctrl button in case of multiple selections) and click on 'OK' button to add them in your Market Watch.

II Search & Add
Second ways is to search the desired contract first by filtering the list and then add them in your Market Watch. The steps for this procedure are as follows:

  1. Exchange - You may use the desired exchange (MCX, NCDEX) to view the list of underlying and the derivatives contracts available in that exchange.

  2. Type - you can select the type of entity you wish to add. To add an underlying, select 'Spot' option. To add the futures contract, select 'Futures' option from the drop-down. To add a commodity index, select 'Indices' option.

  3. Symbol - Next, you can choose the scrip's symbol from Symbol drop-down box to view related contracts.
Once records are displayed, you can select the desired ones (Press Ctrl button in case of multiple selections) and click on 'OK' button to add them in your Market Watch. Note! PIB displays the records on the basis of your set criteria.
Add-on Features
  1. Select All - You can click this button to select all the contracts displayed on the screen.
  2. Cancel - You can click this button to close down the window.
  3. Reset Search - You can click this button to reset all fields to their default values.
